Man, I love Pink Floyd. Particularly this song. It can make me feel hopeful or suicidal... it alternates unpredictably. I love it. I wish I could make music like this.. It's amazing.

What frustrates me is, is I spend hours on end sitting on my bed with my guitar and a blank pad of paper and a pen in my hands. I strum... always to the same chords... Em, G, D, C... always to the same rhythm. Always playing Polly. Never being able to compose my own songs. And when I do manage to reach into my heart and write a song, I sing it twice, and it sickens me, so I scrap it.

I feel accomplished though, because I just had art lessons and I drew this wonderful piece. It's a silhouette of a woman, over a yellow ochre background. The twist is... she's a peacock... and her tail looks like fire. Maybe she's a phoenix. Yes, she's a phoenix. She's immortal. She will burst into flames and be resurrected.

I'm still finding it hard to think that school is over. I never have to go back there again. Never. Well except once to hand in the Computer Project to the teacher.
Still...
You know, I'll miss it. A lot. I'll even miss the teachers. I'll miss lessons. I'll miss passing notes and etching Band Names into my desk. I'll miss even the girls I couldn't stand.
But I'm strangely happy.. excited about the future. I don't get this feeling a lot... but now I'm free. All I have to do is complete these exams. By June I'll be free.
And next October I will start Junior College... and I'll finally be part of a clique of people with similar tastes to mine. I'll go to concerts... maybe even participate in Battle of the Bands...

I'll get to study Philosophy and Sociology. I'll get to finish my A levels, and then I'll be headed for university. Or perhaps I'll try my hardest to get a scholarship to RADA... my dream.

I love music and I love theatre and art and Literature.

I am going to become famous. Mark my words.

Matt should be coming over very soon. I can't wait! I miss him so much... haven't seen him in 4 days... I love him so much.

Laine and I have decided that if tomorrow we both get drunk, we're going to meet up at the Park and make out! lol. Give em a show.
I don't know whether to be flattered or scared... she said she's wanted to kiss me for a long time... uhm... it's all a bit of fun to me. She is my best friend... we're very very close.

That was an um... interesting test.

Well. This morning was the last official day of school. We had the school leaving assembly... Leanne and I sang Angel by Sarah Mclachlan and everyone cried. I cried too... but only for about five minutes. I dunno... I guess it just hasn't sunk in. Plus I was never close to the girls who I've gone to school with.

But it's weird... I'll never see these people every morning again... and I'll never wear my uniform again... I won't be going to to school... no more english lessons, no more school plays...

It's weird and I can't imagine it.

On the up side, our whole class has made peace. Finally.

My dad and mom were acting like nothing happened yesterday. He got me the dvds of the Twighlight Zone.
I don't understand.

I wish it was tomorrow cos I wish Matt were here.

Tomorrow is election day. God, Malta's gonna be in a real bad state after tomorrow.

Ank asked if I wanted to go and sing backing for his band when they play live. I said Okay sure. I mean, it'll be fun.

Man we are So going to work on Adrena|ina in summer... it's always been my dream to have a band so I won't let it fade away.I have a french exam at 5. Wish me luck.

Stagecoach was good... Edward said my interpretation of the monologue was "very convincing" so I'm happy that at least I don't suck too bad at acting.

I'm stil kind of depressed because of Kurt, but on the whole I'm okay...
I have to study really soon and then hopefully I can go out. Yay.

I made a really good omelette-sandwich. I can't cook to save my life, but I make good omelettes.
On the down side, my nose has decided to stuff up, so I keep sneezing so much.

I'll go study now... do my friend's school-leaving copybooks then study *grin*

Ok so I went to school, played guitar in Mass...

Then the whole 5th form went to Hard Rock Cafe. We ate, I feel sick.

I got annoyed with the girls, I can't wait to leave school, and they were going to HAVANA *pukes*
So I called Matt and asked if I could come over,
This at around 11pm

He said yes.

So I did, and his parents were asleep, so we got into his mom's car and stayed there for like an hour.

Tonight I have to go to my school-leaving mass. Joy. I have to play my guitar and sing and generally be happy. Which sucks, because the last thing I need is to go to mass right now. Blah.

On the other hand, there's the meal after mass, and I'm allowed out until 1am... meaning even if the meal finishes early, I can stay out with the excuse of "the teachers will be there".

Anyway...

Stagecoach was Okay.

Matt and I went to this music shop... it was Heaven!!! So many guitars!!!
He bought a Effects pedal with like 42 effects,so that's pretty cool.
And I might buy this amazing Black Guild Electric-Acoustic, so yeah.

Anyway, I should go study.
